First seen Nov 21, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study looks at whether omeprazole, a common heartburn medication, changes how well the body absorbs protein from a meal. Four healthy adults aged 50-60 will eat a protein-rich meal with and without the drug, and their blood amino acid levels will be compared. Results may help improve diet advice for older adults taking this medication.
