Fish oil pills tested to boost cancer treatment power
NCT ID NCT07272382
Summary
This study is testing whether adding daily omega-3 fish oil supplements to standard immunotherapy helps people with advanced esophageal cancer. Researchers want to see if the supplements help patients maintain muscle mass and improve their response to treatment. About 140 participants will receive either the omega-3 pills or a placebo along with their cancer therapy for six months.
