First seen Nov 19, 2025 · Last updated Apr 26, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study looked at whether taking high-dose omega-3 supplements for eight weeks changes blood levels of certain natural compounds (oxylipins) and affects muscle damage after intense exercise in 30 healthy young men. The goal was to understand how these compounds work, not to test a treatment. Participants did not have any muscle disease.
