Fish oil may regrow tooth roots in kids, study finds

Summary
This study tests whether placing omega-3 fatty acids inside a damaged, immature tooth can help it regrow root length and dentin wall thickness. Twenty patients aged 6 to 28 with a dead tooth nerve will receive either the omega-3 treatment or the standard blood-clot method. The goal is to see if omega-3s improve tooth healing and bone formation.
