NCT ID NCT07394517

First seen Feb 06, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study tests if a new type of omega-3 supplement (Ruby-O) can improve the Omega-3 Index—a blood marker of heart health—better than standard omega-3 in adults with mixed dyslipidemia (imbalanced blood fats). About 105 participants on stable statin therapy will take one of two doses of Ruby-O or a conventional omega-3 daily for 24 weeks. The goal is to see which supplement raises omega-3 levels in red blood cells more effectively, potentially reducing heart disease risk.
