Fish oil tested as natural help for Kids' ADHD

NCT ID NCT07348562

Summary

This study tested whether high-dose omega-3 supplements (fish oil) could help reduce ADHD symptoms in children aged 6-12 who showed signs of high inflammation. Fifteen children who weren't taking ADHD medication received either omega-3 or a placebo for 12 weeks. Researchers measured changes in attention, hyperactivity, and blood markers of inflammation to see if the supplements made a difference.
