Summary

This completed study tested whether omega-3 enriched eggs can improve omega-3 levels in elite female athletes. Seventeen participants ate 14 eggs per week for 8 weeks, with half receiving enriched eggs and half regular eggs. The main goal was to see changes in the omega-3 index in the blood.
