Eggs for endurance: can a simple diet change boost athlete recovery?
NCT ID NCT07276113
Summary
This study tested whether eating omega-3 enriched eggs could improve blood levels of healthy fats and help with recovery in elite female athletes. Seventeen athletes with low omega-3 levels ate 14 eggs per week for 8 weeks. Researchers measured changes in their blood and used questionnaires to see if they felt better recovered from training.
