Summary
This study tested whether omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acid supplements could improve autism symptoms and behaviors in young children. Researchers gave the supplements to 98 children aged 2-6 with autism spectrum disorder to see if they reduced inflammation and helped with communication, social skills, and behavior.
