Daily treatment tested to help toddlers breathe easier

Summary
This study is testing whether a daily treatment called OM-85 can reduce the number and severity of wheezing episodes in young children who experience them frequently. About 300 children aged 6 months to 5 years will take either OM-85 or a placebo (inactive substance) daily for 6 months, followed by 6 months of observation. The main goal is to see if OM-85 helps children have fewer wheezing attacks and reduces their need for other medications like steroids.
