Summary

This study is testing whether a medicine called OM-85 can help prevent common respiratory infections like colds and wheezing illnesses in young children. It will involve about 525 children, aged 6 months to 5 years, who are prone to these infections. The children will take either OM-85 or a placebo (a dummy pill) for up to a year to see if the medicine reduces the number and severity of their illnesses.
