300 patients tracked to uncover hidden cancer risks in common mouth condition

Summary
This study follows 300 people with oral lichen planus (a chronic mouth condition) for at least 6 months to see how often it turns into oral cancer. Researchers will also look for patterns and risk factors that might predict this change. No new treatments are being tested—the goal is simply to learn more about the disease's natural course.
