This study looked at 150 people with oral lichen planus (a chronic mouth condition) to see if it is linked to autoimmune thyroid diseases. Researchers checked mouth sores and measured thyroid hormone and antibody levels in the blood. The goal was to find patterns that could help predict thyroid problems in these patients.
