First seen Feb 04, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study tests an experimental drug called olorofim in people recently diagnosed with coccidioidal meningitis, a rare fungal infection of the brain and spinal cord. About 12 adults will take the drug for 6 months to see if it is safe and helps control the infection. The goal is to manage the disease, not cure it, and participants may continue treatment through a special access program afterward.
