First seen May 19, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026
Summary
This study looks at whether adding table olives to the daily diet of healthy young adults (ages 18 and up) can improve cholesterol and other health markers. About 226 college students will eat 6 olives daily for 5 weeks, and researchers will measure changes in their blood. The goal is to see if this simple food change has real benefits for heart and metabolic health.
