Summary
This study tested whether taking olive leaf extract for four weeks could improve physical performance, reduce muscle soreness, and enhance sleep quality in 18 elite male handball players. Participants received either a daily 500 mg olive leaf supplement or a placebo. The goal was to see if this natural antioxidant could support recovery after intense exercise.
