This study aimed to find the best dose of the drug oliceridine to prevent dangerous spikes in blood pressure and heart rate when a breathing tube is placed during surgery. It involved 58 patients undergoing elective surgery, split into younger and older groups. Researchers used a method that adjusted the dose for each new patient based on the previous patient's response to find the most effective amount.
