First seen Apr 25, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study tests two treatments for a type of jaw cyst called odontogenic keratocyst. About 50 adults will have surgery to remove the cyst, plus one of two solutions applied to the area to lower the chance it comes back. Researchers will track how many cysts return over 3 to 5 years and check for any nerve numbness or tingling.
