Light-Based blood treatment tested for Tough-to-Treat blood cancer

NCT ID NCT07075328

Summary

This study is testing a new treatment called OJP-001 for adults whose T-cell leukemia or lymphoma has come back after previous therapy. The treatment involves taking a drug that makes cancer cells sensitive to light, then filtering the patient's blood outside the body and exposing it to a special light to kill the cancer cells. Researchers want to find the safest dose and see if this approach can help control the disease in patients who have few other options.
