First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study tested a new type of eye scan called OCT angiography to see how well it shows blood vessels in the retina compared to standard dye-based tests. 88 people with either normal eyes or retinal conditions took part. The goal was to see if the new scan provides clear and useful images without needing dye injections.
