Doctors watch and wait: can mild breast inflammation heal on its own?

NCT ID NCT06665399

Summary

This study aims to learn how often mild, non-breastfeeding-related breast inflammation gets worse when doctors simply watch it instead of starting treatment right away. Researchers will follow 57 women with this mild condition for several months to see how many need treatment later and what factors might predict that need. The goal is to gather evidence to help doctors decide when 'watchful waiting' is a safe and effective first step.
