Global kidney disease treatment trial withdrawn before starting
NCT ID NCT06120673
Summary
This international study aimed to compare two different treatment approaches for adults with primary membranous nephropathy, a serious kidney condition that causes protein loss in urine. The trial planned to test whether a newer medication called obinutuzumab works better than the standard combination of steroid and cyclophosphamide drugs. However, the study was withdrawn before any participants could be enrolled, so no results are available.
