First seen Apr 14, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study tests whether a new drug (obicetrapib) alone or with another drug (evolocumab) can lower a blood fat called Lp(a) that raises heart disease risk. About 69 adults with mildly high cholesterol and elevated Lp(a) will take the drugs for 16 weeks. The goal is to see if the combination works better than the new drug alone.
