Summary

This study aims to understand what causes obesity by looking at the connection between a specific gene, people's eating and exercise habits, and their social and economic environment. It involves 100 adults from specific Georgia counties who are overweight or have obesity. The research will collect genetic data, track diet and activity, and analyze social factors to learn how these elements combine to influence a person's weight.
