Zap vs. pill: new study tests Drug-Free bladder treatment for kids

NCT ID NCT07030803

Summary

This study is comparing two ways to help children with overactive bladder, a condition that causes frequent, urgent bathroom trips and sometimes accidents. Researchers want to see if a device that gently stimulates a nerve in the ankle works as well as the standard medication, oxybutynin. The trial will involve 124 children aged 6 to 16 to see which treatment is more effective, easier to tolerate, and better followed over three months.
