First seen Dec 26, 2025 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study compares two methods to increase cancer screening for breast, cervical, and colorectal cancer among 2,160 New Yorkers. One group gets culturally tailored education materials only; the other gets the same materials plus a community health worker who helps them schedule screenings and address social needs. The goal is to see which approach leads to more people getting screened within 6 months.
