New hope for Tough-to-Treat leukemia: experimental drug NX-5948 enters phase 2 trial

Summary
This study tests an experimental drug called NX-5948 in about 100 adults with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) or small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL) whose cancer has returned or stopped responding after treatment with BTK and BCL-2 inhibitors. The main goal is to see if the drug can shrink or control the cancer. Participation can last up to 5 years or longer if the disease does not worsen.
