NCT ID NCT07409363

First seen Feb 15, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This small pilot study will test whether a non-invasive device that stimulates the vagus nerve (nVNS) can reduce symptoms like dizziness, fatigue, and pain in people with long-term muscle or joint pain. Twelve adults with chronic pain and confirmed autonomic nervous system problems will use the device or a sham device twice daily for two weeks each. The goal is to see if this approach is feasible and worth testing in a larger trial.
