New implant aims to heal slipped spine

NCT ID NCT05961956

Summary

This early-stage study is testing a new bone implant called NVDX3 in adults with a specific type of lower back condition where one vertebra slips forward. The implant, made from donated human bone tissue, is placed during a single surgery to help the bones fuse together. Researchers will follow five patients for up to two years to check if the implant is safe and if it helps form solid bone and reduce pain.
