First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study tests whether a special protein drink (Peptamen 1.6) helps malnourished pancreatic cancer patients recover better after surgery compared to a standard high-protein drink. Twenty adults who are malnourished or at risk will receive both drinks at different times to see which one improves digestion, nutrition, and inflammation. The goal is to find the best nutritional support to improve recovery and quality of life after surgery.
