Can a special drink help malnourished toddlers catch up?
NCT ID NCT05911893
Summary
This study is testing whether daily high-calorie nutritional drinks can help underweight children aged 1 to 3 years grow, develop, and improve their overall health. Two hundred children will be randomly assigned to receive either the nutritional drinks plus education, or just education and dietary advice. Researchers will track the children's growth, brain development, gut health, and immune function over 12 months to see if the supplements make a difference.
