First seen May 05, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tests whether teaching caregivers about iron-rich foods, alongside giving children iron supplements, improves hemoglobin levels more than supplements alone. About 150 children aged 1 to 5 with iron deficiency anemia will take part. Caregivers in the education group will attend sessions on diet strategies, and all children will receive oral iron therapy.
