First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study looks at whether drinking extra protein and energy drinks twice a day for 12 weeks can improve muscle strength, muscle mass, and quality of life in older adults (65+) who are at nutritional risk and leaving the hospital with a rehabilitation plan. About 123 participants from two hospitals in Denmark will take part. The goal is to see if this simple addition helps them recover better.
