Summary

This study looked at whether drinking extra protein and energy drinks twice a day for 12 weeks could help older adults (65+) who are at nutritional risk improve their muscle strength, muscle mass, and quality of life after leaving the hospital with a rehabilitation plan. A total of 123 participants took part. The goal was to see if simple nutritional support could make rehabilitation more effective.
