First seen May 14, 2026 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study tests whether a high-energy liquid diet can improve nutrition in children under 5 who have chronic cholestasis (a liver problem that blocks bile flow) and severe malnutrition. For 14 days, participants will consume the liquid diet and give blood samples to check for changes in key nutrition markers. The goal is to help these children grow better and stay healthier.
