Can better food in the ICU speed up recovery?

NCT ID NCT07337798

Summary

This study aims to see if using a new set of evidence-based nutrition guidelines helps patients in surgical intensive care units (ICUs) get the right amount of food and protein to aid their recovery. It will involve 200 patients and the ICU staff caring for them in China. Researchers will compare patient outcomes before and after the new guidelines are put into practice to see if they improve how food is delivered and help patients get better.
