Can better food lessons stop childhood obesity?
NCT ID NCT03817021
Summary
This study tested different ways to teach parents and teachers how to help young children recognize when they are hungry or full, aiming to prevent obesity. It involved about 1,461 preschoolers and their caregivers from low-income, rural areas. Researchers compared training for teachers, classroom lessons for kids, and coaching for parents to see which combination best improved children's ability to self-regulate their eating.
