Can storytime teach kids to eat better?
NCT ID NCT07170696
Summary
This study tested whether a special eight-week nutrition education program using story reading and hands-on food activities could help preschool children learn more about healthy foods and eat a greater variety of foods. The program involved 46 children in Istanbul, with some receiving the lessons and others not, to compare the results. Researchers measured the children's food knowledge and the diversity of foods they ate before and after the program to see if it made a difference.
