Can a simple drink boost recovery for frail seniors?
NCT ID NCT05556876
Summary
This study is testing whether drinking special nutritional supplements twice a day for 12 weeks can help older adults at risk of poor nutrition regain muscle strength and complete their rehabilitation after leaving the hospital. Researchers will compare a group taking the supplements with a group following their usual routine. The goal is to see if extra protein and energy from drinks improves strength, muscle mass, and overall recovery.
