Summary

This study looked at whether personalized nutrition advice from a dietitian can help overweight or obese pregnant women gain the right amount of weight. Sixty women in their first trimester took part. The goal was to see if counseling helps them follow weight gain guidelines and reduce health risks for both mother and baby.
