Can simple food labels help people eat healthier at restaurants?

NCT ID NCT06923241

Summary

This study tested whether adding Nutri-score labels (A-E ratings) to restaurant menus alongside calorie information would help people make healthier food choices compared to menus with only calorie labels. Researchers observed 672 adults ordering meals in real Liverpool restaurants to see which labeling approach was more effective. They measured what people ordered, how much they ate, and even tracked their food intake the next day to understand the full impact.
