Nursing students practice safety on actors to cut medical mistakes

NCT ID NCT07471737

First seen Mar 26, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study looks at whether first-year nursing students learn patient safety better by practicing with actors (simulated patients) instead of just manikins. About 62 students will be split into two groups, with one group using actors. The goal is to see if this hands-on approach improves their skills in identifying patients correctly, giving the right medications, preventing infections, and reducing falls.
