Can fake patients and hospital drills stop future nursing mistakes?
NCT ID NCT07349355
Summary
This study aims to see if two specific training methods can help senior nursing students make fewer medical errors. Researchers will have 81 final-year nursing students practice with realistic hospital simulations and trained actors pretending to be patients. The goal is to measure if this hands-on training lowers their tendency to make mistakes and improves their attitudes about patient safety before they graduate.
