Can fake patients make real nurses safer?
NCT ID NCT07471737
Summary
This study aims to see if training with simulated patients (actors) helps first-year nursing students learn patient safety skills better than traditional methods. Researchers will compare two groups of students to see if the hands-on practice reduces their tendency to make errors in areas like correct patient identification, medication safety, and preventing falls and infections. The goal is to improve how future nurses are trained to keep patients safe.
