Can Role-Playing teach nurses to deliver bad news better?

NCT ID NCT07340086

Summary

This small pilot study aims to understand how a simulation-based training workshop affects nursing students' emotions and empathy when learning to deliver difficult news to patients. Nine fourth-year nursing students participated in role-playing exercises with simulated patients. Researchers used questionnaires to measure changes in the students' emotional state and empathy levels before, during, and after the training.
