Can High-Tech Role-Play make better nurses?
NCT ID NCT07415057
Summary
This study aims to find out if using realistic patient simulation is better than traditional classroom methods for teaching communication skills to first-year nursing students. Fifty students in Portugal will be randomly assigned to either practice with actors playing patients or to learn through group discussions and role-play with classmates. Researchers will measure students' communication skills and confidence before and after the training to see which method works best.
