Summary
This study tested a new way to train nursing students by combining practice on realistic mannequins in a simulation lab with real-world clinical experience. Researchers wanted to see if this mix improved students' skills and to figure out the best time to use the simulation training. They worked with 94 second-year nursing students, having them practice on mannequins for scenarios like post-surgery care and then discussing what they learned.
