New teaching method tested to train better nurses
NCT ID NCT07364994
Summary
This study tested whether a specific teaching approach helps nursing students learn how to use research evidence in patient care. Researchers worked with 131 second-year nursing students in Italy, having them complete questionnaires before and after a special educational module. The teaching method combined self-study at home with team problem-solving sessions in class to build skills in finding and applying medical research.
