Can writing stories make better nurses? study tests new teaching method
NCT ID NCT07276659
Summary
This study tested a new way to teach nursing students how to care for patients with stomas (surgical openings). Researchers wanted to see if writing practice scenarios and acting them out in role-play helped students learn better than standard classroom teaching. They compared two groups of 60 third-year nursing students over eight weeks. The goal was to understand if this hands-on method improves knowledge and confidence for future patient care.
