Can a simple chat ease new Moms' pain and worry after C-Section?

NCT ID NCT07467304

Summary

This study is testing whether one-on-one nursing education provided after a cesarean section can help reduce pain and anxiety during recovery. It will involve 80 women who have just had a C-section, randomly assigning some to receive the education and others to receive usual care. Researchers will measure pain and anxiety levels before the education and again before the women leave the hospital to see if the teaching made a difference.
